Pupnics are coming
Picnics aren’t just for people anymore. This summer, we’re making sure dogs get a seat at the table – literally. To celebrate the launch of our brand-new Wagg Chews, we’re rolling out dog-sized “Pupnic” benches across some of the UK’s most dog-friendly parks.
What’s a Pupnic?
Think of your classic picnic spot, but built just for dogs. Our benches sit low to the ground (around 30cm), making them the perfect hangout for everything from Great Danes to Dachshunds. Made from sustainable materials and designed with all breeds in mind, these pop-up picnic spots are here to prove one thing: why should humans have all the fun?
What’s on the menu?
At each Pupnic bench, dogs can tuck into samples of our latest Chews – Banana & Peanut Butter Bars, Steak Skewer Twists and Fish Finger Sticks. They’re chunkier, chewier, and made with real ingredients (less than 5% fat, no added sugar). Plus, we’ve got some Wagg favourites making an appearance too: BBQ Bangers, Ham & Cheese Toastie, and even Carrot Cake. Basically, it’s a picnic feast your pup won’t forget.

We’ll be popping up at some of the nation’s favourite dog-friendly spots this August:

🐾 Birkenhead Park, Liverpool – 30th August 2025 (9am – 5pm)
🐾 Llys y Fran Lake, Pembrokeshire – 31st August 2025 (10am – 5pm)
We will be announcing some extra events and locations taking place in September very soon!
Why we’re doing it
At Wagg, we believe dogs don’t just need food – they deserve joy. Every chew, crunch, and nibble is about keeping tails wagging. Our Brand Manager Sarah Lyle sums it up:
